#iartschat | The Art of Social Media Curating an International, Interactive & Innovative Arts Experience with Social Media

Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm

618 S. Michigan Ave., 4th floor 618 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL, 60605

Join us for a conversation about The Art of Social Media with Dr. Kelly Page, Assistant Professor in Digital and Social Media Management and invited Skype guest from the UK, John E. McGrath, Artistic Director of the award winning National Theatre Wales

Drawing on case studies and her work with artists, with Kelly and John we will consider: What does this mean for how we create, manage and share in the arts? How we educate in the arts? And how we participate in social media practices as international artists and arts managers?

A Q&A session with a panel of faculty and students will follow the talk.

Can’t attend, but still want to participate? Join the conversation on Twitter with your thoughts on: Is social media art? #iartschat @ColumbiaChi
