Design Department Lecture Series: Jay Ryan

Join the Design Department on October 3 for a lecture by illustrator and screenprinter Jay Ryan, who has been making screenprints and concert posters in and around Chicago since 1995. He has worked for hundreds of bands, including Andrew Bird, Shellac, the Melvins, the Decemberists, Jack White, My Morning Jacket, Fugazi, Jeff Tweedy, and a bunch of others you've probably never heard of—like Pearl Jam. 

Jay runs his print shop, called The Bird Machine, in Skokie, Illinois.
