623 S. Wabash Ave., Room 203 623 S. Wabash, Chicago, IL, 60605

The A+D Department is proud to present a lecture by Laura Park on Thursday, December 5, 5:30-7:30 in the A+D Lecture Hall, 623 S. Wabash, Room 203. This lecture is a part of our ongoing A+D Lecture Series.

Laura Park is a cartoonist and illustrator who lives in Chicago. She was born in California and the only thing she misses about it is being able to grow quality lemons. She likes vintage pen nibs, making gloriously organized lists, and sweater weather. Her comics have been published in Mome, The Believer, Best American Comics, and An Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons, and True Stories. She illustrates the NYT Best Selling Middle School and I, FUNNY series. Currently she is working on a collection of her comics comics with Drawn and Quarterly.
