Latino and Latin American Studies Lecture Series – “La Ciénaga"

Hosted by SGA Representative Kyle Heger and co-presented by
The Art House, the Spring 2019 Latino and Latin American Studies Lecture Series offers the first of Lucrecia Martel's Salta Trilogy:

In 2001's La Ciénaga, Argentinian filmmaker Lucrecia Martel provides a visceral take on class, nature, sexuality, and the ways that political turmoil and social stagnation can manifest in human relationships, told through the tale of a dissolute, extended bourgeois family.

This event supports the Latino and Latin American Studies Minor and the course Introduction to Latin American Studies (HUMA 103). For more information contact: Gabriela Díaz de Sabatés (gdíazdesabaté
