Attendees at this program will actually develop a simplified Business Plan during the session. After a presentation, they will break into small groups with a mentor and collectively work to fill out a business plan worksheet specifically developed for creatives.
Chicago Creative Coalition is honored to have Brad Farris, principal advisor at Anchor Advisors, work with us on creating a meaningful business plan. Brad guides business owners through the pitfalls and joys of growing their business. As a speaker, he is known for providing valuable information in a way that is immediately actionable. At this program, be prepared to work with actual figures and realistic expectations about your business expenses and revenue. What does your typical project look like? Does it generate $1,000, $8,000; does it last a week, a month? Brad will walk us through the thought and action steps that will help us realize our business goals. At the end of the evening, each of us should emerge with a custom business plan, and positioned to take the next steps to financial success.
