Free Summer Film School: The Director's Team w/ Saró Melero Bonnin

Are you ready to work on the set of films, TV shows, web series, and commercials? Then this virtual session is for you!

Alumni Saró Melero Bonnin (’18) is an expert on how to run a set. Saró is a freelance Assistant Director from Puerto Rico, currently continuing her artist career in Chicago. Saró has been in the industry for over eight years working in all capacities of the production department in different mediums including: commercials, music videos, short films, feature films, and fashion films. Saró has assistant directed over twenty award-winning projects, acclaimed internationally participating in film festivals like The Los Angeles International Film Festival. Saró has worked in music videos for artists like Migos, Vic Mensa, Jamila Woods, Taylor Bennett, Omar Apollo, Tatiana Hazel, and many more.

In her short time in the city of Chicago, she has had the opportunity to work on shows like Shameless, The Chi, Batwoman, and more. In this in-depth one-on-one conversation, Saro will share the keys to her success in the Cinema and Television industry in Chicago.
