The B-Series: with a look at Hip-Hop Culture, Movement and the Academy

The Dance Center at Columbia College Chicago celebrates hip-hop and street dance culture through its bi-annual mini festival, The B-Series.

This fall, we're partnering with Words, Beats & Life; Kuumba Lynx; GIRL ILLA Tactics and The Center for Community Arts Partnerships for an expanded Teach-In featuring presentations, workshops, panels, film screenings, and a community dance and competition called the B-Real Jam.

B-The Bridge Teach-In featuring B-Real Jam will highlight local, national and internationally recognized artist practitioners, scholars, and community organizations.
