This six-week workshop concentrates on development of conversational fluency in American Sign Language (ASL). Participants learn to accurately recognize and produce signs in ASL with appropriate non-manual behaviors and grammatical features. Workshop is a basic introduction to ASL, and participants develop expressive and receptive ASL skills through discussions of topics such as personal information, surroundings, residences, families and activities. Our deaf faculty will teach the workshop.
