In Word 6- An Architecture of Multi-Modal Poetry/Text, writers of all genres explore the strangeness of dwelling in a foreign space by examining poetry and text as part of a greater structure. Housed in a building where the poem becomes the subject, the act of reading text becomes an act of experiencing text that invites the reader to become a guest. Driven by the concept of dwelling, students and residents build text atop themes of light & dark, hidden spaces, domesticity, hunger and ordinary sounds, challenging the relationship between subject and form.
