Senior Showcase of Graphic Design, Illustration, & Advertising Art Direction

Friday, May 17, 2013 at 5:30pm to 8:00pm

C101 Gallery 33 E. Congress

Students graduating from Columbia's Graphic Design, Illustration, and Advertising Art Direction programs between December 2012 and August 2013 are invited to present tabled portfolios for review by professional guests from the creative community.

Each spring, hundreds of creative professionals visit Columbia to meet new talent and welcome you into the professional community. This is the premier occasion for your faculty and staff to introduce you to professionals, highlight your work, and help you connect with opportunities. Registered students will be provided table space to demonstrate their portfolios and distribute self-promotional materials. Guests are provided refreshments and encouraged to network casually with students around the room. Faculty and staff will be on hand to help you "break ice" and engage your audience. Make your portfolio great, and bring it on May 17th to show what you can do!

* Make sure you're registered through TalentPool (http://students.colum.edu/applications/industry-events/)  and complete your profile. You'll receive a confirmation and more details closer to the event. Deadline is May 3rd.

Well, I was little nervous and I tried to do my best to show my graphic works to the guests, few students, and faculty staffs. I made 10 copies and 7 copies took by the people. I have only 3 copies left with me. I supposed to make a copies of my business card, but I don't know which I can go to make them. Good thing, I made copies of my personal resume. They were very impressed with my graphic design works. Pat my back! :)
