On June 15, and to honor our current and former students’ commitment to the education, well-being, aspirations, and equitable educational opportunities of youth, we will host a panel discussion with three leading figures in education.
The panelists are Bill Ayers, former Distinguished Professor of Education and Senior University Scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago; Heidi Aranda, Principal of Ochoa School in Tucson, Arizona; and Lucinda Lee Katz, head of Marin Country Day School and former Chief Education Officer for Chicago Public Schools. Together, the panelists will discuss the role of progressive education within the context of today’s children, teachers, communities, and dangerous political climate.
Join us in celebrating twenty years of supporting education as we share ideas about how best to educate youth for the next twenty years—and beyond. Refreshments will be provided.
