Christina Obregón, Exploring Indigenous Art & CultureChristina Obregón, a second generation "Xicana" (Mexican-American), born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago has been politically and culturally involved in human rights campaigns focusing on "ending violence" and the "exploitation of women and children" since her late teens. She is the coordinator of "Calles y Sueños", a self-sustaining cultural center in the Pilsen neighborhood.
