Chicago Zine Fest Panel Discussion

Chicago Zine Fest, an annual celebration of self-publishing
efforts, celebrates its 5th anniversary this year! The festival kicks off on Friday, March 14 at 1pm at with a panel entitled In it for the Long Haul: A Discussion on Longevity in Zines with self-published authors Cindy Crabb, Tomas Moniz, and Alex Wrekk. The panel will be moderated by Quimby’s Bookstore manager Liz Mason
The event is at Columbia College’s Conaway Center in the historic Ludington Building sponsored by their Center for Book and Paper Arts.

CART (teletype services) will be available for guests with disabilities.

Books and materials by the panelists will be available for sale at the event.

Then come back on Saturday March 15th for the zine exhibition, a day full of workshops, discussions, hands-on activities and more.

All events are free and open to the public.


The festival is sponsored by Columbia's Center for Book and Paper Arts.
