Columbia alumna Melissa Sayes reads from and discusses her first novel, Daughter's DNA: Life Phases, published by Infinity Publishing (January, 2017).
Life Phases is the journey of an African-American woman's search for peace and balance in her life. Her goal is to break away from the DNA cycle to which she was born into. She tells her story through phases with each phase having purpose. The power of God as well as her emotional life journeys provides her with the strength to remain faithful and to try again. It was the blessings and glory of God which helped her to understand her DNA.
